This Page will deal with the fact that an amazing handwriting recognition os was built and used

in the Newton. Mind you at first it was horrible but the last implementation of NewtonOS

2.0 ( MP120 and MP130 ) and 2.1 ( MP2k only ) where years ahead of it's time. Now that Apple has

Given up on the Newton platform, what is it going to do with that great HWR ( handwriting recognition )

of the NewtonOs.Will it be smart and add it to a future PDA or start to built the first laptop with the

option of a HWR screen and system. I know I want one and dreamt of it every since I saw one of

Apples Future of computing promo ads with a flatscreen tablet in which you could write on and it spoke

out to you ( the MP2k can do that to a certain extent ). what will the future hold for the Newton Os or the

dream of what it was to become.
